She comes from a large chiropractic family, and is passionate about helping everyone achieve health and wellness. She began her career in private practice at Enterprise Chiropractic and Wellness in Enterprise, Alabama, and continued serving a new community in Mobile, AL and in Canton, Ohio. After a lot of prayer and consideration, she is excited to serve the communities of Oxford and Athens through her own practice, Revitalize Chiropractic and Sport.
Dr. Jill Harbin DC, BS, MAEd
Dr. Jill Harbin graduated magna cum laude from Life University College of Chiropractic in March 2015. She received her Alabama chiropractic license in April of 2015 after passing all four parts plus physiotherapy National Board Examinations. She opened her own practice, Functional Health and Sports Chiropractic, in Madison, Alabama in October of 2015, but had to close her
practice in November 2022 due to health issues with her father. Since his health has improved, she is returning to chiropractic on a part time basis to do what she loves. Dr. Jill played softball at Calhoun Community College in the early 1990’s, received a Bachelor of Science degree in Athletic Training from Samford University, then earned a master’s degree in physical education
from UAB. She taught physical education and was a personal fitness trainer before attending chiropractic school. Dr. Harbin has also been an active sports official for over twenty years for high school and recreational sports for softball, volleyball, and basketball. She was born and raised in Huntsville, Alabama, where she currently resides with her cute dogs, Jacie and Pearl.
Dr. Harbin’s philosophy is to treat others as you would want to be treated. She spends quality, focused time to analyze and treat each patient according to specific, individual needs. Her belief is that the source of the problem may not always be where the pain is located, so she uses a full body approach to diagnose and care for a patient. Dr. Jill uses several adjusting techniques to
accommodate each patient, is proficient in extremity adjusting, and is certified in dry needling. She is also full body certified in Active Release Technique, which addresses problems with muscles, tendons, ligaments, fascia, and nerves. In addition to neck and back pain, Dr. Harbin specializes in musculoskeletal conditions for the entire body including, but not limited to, the shoulders, elbows, wrists, hands, hips, knees, ankles, feet, and nerve entrapments, as well as other health issues and nutrition.
At Revitalize Chiropractic and Sport, your health is our priority. Our approach helps patients achieve long-term wellness, reach health care goals and improve physical health and performance.
